I was at Malaysia recently our paper had been accepted for presentation and publication. I flew by Malaysian airlines, the very moment that I got into the flight I was surprised by the interiors of the flight as it was very ordinary the least to say, my journey wasn’t the best either. On touching Malaysia at the wee hours I was in the Kuala Lumpur International Airport commonly known as KLIA is one of Asia's major aviation hubs, situated in Sepang district, in the south of the state of Selangor, about 50 kilometres (31 mi) from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur. Im given to understand that Kuala Lumpur International Airport is capable of handling 35 million passengers and 1.2 million tonnes of cargo a year in its current phase. It is currently ranked as the 13th busiest airport in the world by international passenger traffic in 2007, and is one of Asia's busiest airport where it has handled 26,938,970 passengers in the year of 2007.The cleanest that I have seen till date.Moving out of the airport I was gaping at the structural beauty , the planning that had gone into this massive construction. Got into a cab that took me to the Marriot Renaissance Kula Lumpur five star hotel in the heart of Golden Triangle, a short stroll from Petronas Twin Towers, shopping and nightlife, the 5-star hotel in Malaysia features two wings with a state-of-the-art convention centre. I was there for the Academy of International Business (AIB) South East Asia Regional Conference 4-6 December 2008 on the theme Globalisation, Innovation and Leadership. The whole three days was in the conference getting myself to widen my horizons of management. I was in complete awe of the ability of the academicians from various parts of the world as they presented their topics in their respective areas of choice. It was a wonderful learning experience and gained lot of inputs that would further my knowledge.
